About Admiral Electrical
Admiral Electrical Inc. is a Toronto electrical estimating company, founded in 2009 by Yan Zaslavsky, an electrical engineer who has estimated electrical work for 30+ years. We price electrical work for contractors in Ontario and across Canada: schools, residential buildings, shopping centres, hospitals and industrial projects. Yan checks every estimate before it goes out.
Yan Zaslavsky, Founder and senior estimator
Yan Zaslavsky has worked in the electrical trade for 40 years. He started on the tools as an electrician with a degree in electrical engineering, so he knows how the work shown on a drawing actually gets installed. He then estimated electrical work at large construction companies, pricing schools, residential buildings, shopping centres and industrial projects. In 2009 he founded Admiral Electrical to focus on one thing: professional electrical estimates for contractors. He still checks every estimate before it goes out.

Five rules that have not changed since the first estimate.
- We only take jobs we can finish on time
- The delivery time is confirmed before we start. If we cannot meet your closing, we say so then.
- The owner reads every estimate
- No estimate leaves the office without a senior check of quantities, labour and exclusions.
- Everything we count, we show
- Every item is marked on the drawings, so you never have to take a number on trust.
- We stand behind the number
- If the general contractor questions your price, we defend the estimate with you, in writing, by phone or in person.
- Your bid stays yours
- Your documents and prices are used only for your estimate and never shared.
